I would love to get a carpet large enough for my students to gather on in class. With all of the support and direction I give my students for their Spanish acquisition, it is important for me that my students have a large enough gathering space where they can engage with me and each other. It is hard to believe that 30 spots aren't enough when I have both of my classes together, but I wouldn't dream of anything different! This carpet in particular will make it easier for me to pair students when we have "think-pair-shares" and "peer-teaching" moments. This carpet would help me give my students an opportunity to collaborate with one another and enrich each other's learning, especially their own.
