High interest and lower leveled books will help engage and motivate our struggling students to read. Our lower readers are especially reluctant to pick up a book and finish it. With these books, classroom teachers would be able to match students up with high interest books that are just right for each reader. This project will help get more engaging books into every classroom. They will be used across grade levels and in every classroom to help hook kids on reading and build confidence with our struggling readers. We're hoping to instill in each student a love of reading that will carry on with them throughout their lifetime. That love for reading could start right here with this project.
