In the intervention that I use with these students exhibiting dyslexic characteristics, I meet one on one with them. There are tiles that I and the student manipulate to make and read words, both real and nonsense. This is much harder with more than one student as I am trying to build a word for each student which takes up much more time. With an iPad, I can purchase the Barton intervention app and the students then can manipulate the tiles on the app. This would allow for a quick​ lesson with the students having more time on task not waiting for me to build words for them as the app will do that for them. This will enable me to have more than one student in a group and thus, meet the needs of more students in my building.
