In utilizing LEGO Education in my classroom, my students will build upon their social, cognitive, and language development. They will work in pairs and groups, applying and enhancing their team-building skills in the classroom, whilst learning to think outside the box in constructing and applying their numerical, pattern recognition, color identification, and shape learning skills. My students will be able to learn about their community by being able to construct miniature communities and learn about what comprises a community. My students will learn about real-world STEM applications, both in their community and society as a whole. They will be afforded the opportunity in learning about engineering, mathematics, the sciences, technology and how STEM learning and applications are a means to contribute in a positive, efficient, and effective manner .
