I would like to enhance my teaching practices and instruction to help my students growth by using manipulatives more in the classroom. My classroom is a combined K, first and small motor skills are essential in these younger children's learning environment. This opportunity for my students is so valuable and is something my classroom budget wasn't able to cover. I want to purchase specific manipulatives that fit with the curriculum. The following are those items needed: Reading: Phonics, and phonic segmentation Math: Number sense and math literacy Writing: Story builders, early writing, and sentence starter. All these items are available through Lakeshore and some from Amazon. These items are approved by the National Educations Association and fulfill our STEAM goals and objectives for our school.
