Students spend the beginning of the year learning how to create different types of design sketches, isometric and orthographic sketches, multiview sketches, and they learn how to dimension those sketches. Once students have a good understanding of the general engineering principals, they will use the same Engineering Software Engineers use in order to build their models using the 3D software. 3D printing capability will allow the students to actually see their engineering skills come to life. Students will have to problem solve for any dimensions that are incorrect but would have a real hands on experience to see how the engineering world truly works.

About my class
