This technology will be a huge blessing to our classroom. Its purpose is two fold; with this technology, students will: 1) Be able to work with online literacy and math programs that will enhance instruction. They will have access to Lexia Core 5, Storyline Online, ST Math, iReady math lessons, and educational game sites like PBSKids.org and ABCYA.com for down time. 2)Have access to the internet. This may seem simple, but the digital divide (inequitable/even access to, use of information technologies i.e. computers, tablets, internet) is great among the students in my class and school's community, and being able to access the internet will further enhance academic efforts and initiatives to get our students to be tech savvy in real time.
