Students will need a carpet every day. In the early morning, we have morning meeting. They sit and greet each others. I will go over the daily routine. Most of the time, students sit on the carpet. I teach Chinese characters, zhuyin, read aloud, etc. After recess, students go back to the classroom. My kindergartners do calendar and math on the carpet. They also do small group activities on carpet too. For example, they turn and talk. In the afternoon, we will have English time. Sometimes my kindergartners dance on the carpet. Students will sit on the carpet and read stories together. I usually read aloud and do interactive writing with my students on the carpets. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The alphabet carpet is really useful for daily teaching!
