The students affected by this project would be my 9th and 11th-grade classes which are Algebra I and Algebra II math courses. In my classroom, I only have about 16 TI84 calculators and that is barely enough to cover all of my students in each class. If the students need to take a calculator out of my room, I am not able to allow them to do so. By giving students the opportunity to take the calculators out of my room for classwork or homework, they are able to practice outside of my room. These calculators are used in college courses as well so it would be good for students to become familiar with the layout and process that they offer.
