I have several students who have a hard time staying still throughout the day. They have a true desire to learn, but traditional seating may not be ideal for them. I am eager to try out new solutions to try and help them achieve to the highest degree possible! I would like to introduce different types of seating gradually in my classroom. I thought, what better, subtle way to start this transformation than to implement these wobble cushions during my small-group instruction time. I pull small groups daily for reading and math interventions on specific target skills and strategies. Eventually, I would love to have other forms of flexible seating.
