Our students are able to earn "Dixie Dollars" for working hard and making good choices. Rewarding positive behavior helps remind our students to be their best. Supplying the store that our students can spend their Dollars at with chips, candy and items they want is sometimes a challenge. Your donations will be used to stock the store with the items that we would otherwise not be able to have. Positive Behavior Supports are proven to improve many aspects of the school setting including academics and behaviors. Our school store is opened on Fridays and students line up to spend their earned dollars. Students who don't have the dollars ask how to earn them, which leads to teachable moments, as their peers tell them how they earn them. Giving teachers tools to reward behavior in their classes, and have them catch the students doing good is increasing desired behavior campus wide.
