Having materials where my students can have hands-on learning activities and use their creativity to create items to take home with learning targets will increase their ability to learn and practice new skills. Card stock and copy paper are essential staples for the students to be able to do worksheets and make handouts that will help them practice their speech sounds at home. It would also allow me to make materials to motivate and stimulate more growth. Dry erase markers are used daily to teach grammar principles my students are working on. Other basic supplies such as pens, pencils, sharpener, etc. are needed for writing IEPs and tracking data.
