Some of my students struggle with sitting still. You can see them leaning back in their chairs, moving their legs up and down and constantly tapping pens. Sitting through class after class is difficult. Giving students an option of flexible seating would enhance the educational experience of the class community. What a gift, to offer these students the choice to sit in something other than a chair that restricts movement. These chairs would help not only the students who need them, but their surrounding peers who are often distracted by active students. Relationships is the key to a healthy classroom. Allowing students freedom to move as they learn will benefit our community of learners.
