Time for Kids weekly magazines will add an exciting reading dimension to our classroom. Students will read about kids their own age, creating, learning, exploring, and most importantly-inspiring them to pursue their own dreams. Each week students will receive a new issue. In order to be economical, I plan to use 1 class set (28) for all 3 of my classes. The articles are so great for my students because they are written on different Lexile levels (so all students can participate). Student learning will be enhanced, too, because video links are included with the articles! There are even paired texts--which stimulate critical thinking activities.
