Many of my students need headphones to help with iReady lessons or to help them with their English learning program. Using headphones instead of the computer blaring the sound will help minimize distractions! I am also targeting specific books to use during small group instruction for my students. Almost all are working below grade level and desperately need the small group time learning key skills in reading. There is so much that can be done through guided reading. My students will have the flexibility with choosing from a larger variety of stories, and that promotes positive engagement. We will be willing to learn and have a greater, more positive outcome with reaching grade level reading.
