To get my students ready for learning each day, I let them use morning work tube instead of worksheets. Because children learn though play, this helps their brains make important connections. Each table group gets a bucket and they have to work together to build. The manipulatives in the tubs are open ended, so it’s up to the children how they use them. I love seeing the cooperation and imagination that the students use every day. It makes my class excited to come to school each day and excited to learn.
