Next month, I will be reunited virtually with a new group of emerging bilingual students. The materials and supplies that I am requesting will help my students understand math while learning from home. The use of hands on math tools, especially at such a young age, is extremely important for foundational math skills. The donations to this project for math kits for my students will help set them up for success while they learn and review math concepts from the safety of their homes. These math toolboxes include everything my students will need for learning at home! Counters to assist in counting, linking cubes to help them understand addition and subtraction, sheet protectors so we can send home reusable resources, shapes so they can learn hands on and so much more. Having these basic supplies will help my students and their families feel prepared for year of learning ahead.
