My students are excited about having music as part of their specials rotations this year! I am working to add more instruments to our music room. A classroom set of ukuleles would provide an excellent resource to actively engage students in learning a new instrument technique and utilizing music reading skills. This would be the first set of ukuleles for our elementary music program, and we hope it will motivate students to continue exploring new ways to make music within our school and on their own. We will use these instruments during lessons in class, and to play during concerts, assemblies, and performances. This will give students the confidence and skills that they need to continue on their musical journey past elementary school. We are excited to add ukuleles to our music program! Thank you for your consideration and support to help increase the musical experience of every student in our school.
