We are requesting resources so that we can dissect rat specimens with proper protective wear (aprons) and using professional tools. Biology, being the study of life, needs to demonstrate examples of content materials. This should definitely be a hands on laboratory class. The proper attire is a necessity. The aprons will protect clothing. We have the other safety gear already. The use of the proper dissecting tools provide a safe learning environment. Professional grade specimens to dissect place the students in a professional lab environment. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Dissecting rats is a little unconventional, but it is impactful as well.
