My students are unique individuals who learn in different ways. Whether it is a video, a kinesthetic activity, or simply playing a game. It is difficult for my students to break routines and be flexible. For that reason, I am leading the way by wanting to incorporate flexible seating into their school day. When I first came into this classroom, there were no flexible seating or personalized learning set ups. I tried my best to make it feel like home for my students but I still feel there is more work to do. Together, we can make this possible! Flexible seating is key for creating independent learners and simply teach kids that they are in control of their learning. I feel like this project will benefit all my students and they will feel excited to come in the classroom every day. This will especially benefit my students who need constant movement input to be able to learn and process information. I am hopeful that this project will be funded and we get to make a difference in my students' lives.
