The 2nd grade students love doing science and hands on activities. These items will help students to be able to do their science experiments in their classrooms. One lesson that we do is to help the students create landforms. They create their mountains with cornmeal and then spray them with water bottles to show what erosion would look like. The students love to see how water can create valleys, rivers and lakes. Another experiment that they do is observing how things grow. The students love to plant the seeds and observe the different changes and stages that it goes through.
