Our school district is starting the year with an online model. I plan to have kids begin nature journaling from their own backyards. They will have the sketch books and whiteboards for both home use, as well as back in the classroom. Once we are back in the classroom, we will take a closer look at seeds and plants, using the microscope. We are really going to dig into science! My read-alouds include fiction and non-fiction, with themes of nature, history, and social justice. This will take place both online and in the classroom. I am excited to get going!
