Since the beginning of the pandemic, our students now face a new reality which is learning from home. With these materials, I plan to recreate a mini classroom layout while working from home. It is my believe that by doing this, students can get the closest experience to what it is to be in a classroom setting since all of my students will be in kindergarten. It is because of this reason that I would love to have a desk and an office chair that will allow me to maneuver around when teaching different lessons/activities remotely. My goal is that students can receive these materials so that they can create beautiful pieces of artwork from their homes. For example, I would like to send students construction paper, markers , and sticky notes so they can create posters. Then, we can analyze them during our online synchronous classes. The office chair and the standing desk will allow me (the teacher) to have a better posture while teaching from home. Help me make learning from home fun and more authentic! Sending home some of these materials will allow us as a classroom to create fun projects while making learning more fun and more authentic as students can get a little glimpse of what it feels to be in a classroom. By doing this, I am helping my young cute little ones be excited for school once we get back to our classroom.
