The students are used to learning about music via singing songs and using Orff instruments. I want to make a more fun and exciting experience for the students and create another opportunity for them to learn and grow in music! I plan on letting students drum on buckets to their favorite songs while using actual technique and performing proper rhythms. Teaching them the fundamentals of drumming as well as how to read music notation. To make things more exciting, they will drum to popular songs that they know (without lyrics) and have a lot of fun doing it. Thank you!
