Boogie Boards will eliminate the space it takes to store white-boards, dry erase markers, AND erasers. Class time will not be lost looking for missing supplies or non-working markers. Additionally, I will not have to worry about peeling white boards and the harm that they can do to students. During whole group and small group instruction, my students will be able to quickly write down their work and have more time to deepen their learning. These boards erase entirely with the push of a button and can be written on using the tip of their fingers or with a stylus. A stylus will be incredibly helpful for my kindergarten students because it is more similar to a pencil and they will be able to strengthen their fine motor skills. Dry erase markers are bulky and hard for students to learn to hold and write correctly with. Boogie Boards are definitely the dry erase of the future and I know that these compact boards will benefit my classroom greatly!
