The copier would allow me to supplement my mundane curriculum with more relevant, interesting tasks. Unfortunately, the curriculum I am supplied does not meet the needs of all my diverse learners and there is very little availability of a consistently working copier. If I had a copier in my classroom, each student would have an engaging assignment in front of them, instead of looking at the copy on the document camera that we all must share. They also could focus on the task more attentively as they each would have their own to write on and manipulate. They will like math and want to learn more.
