Students in my classroom are always solving problems, many of them complex in steps, others require more than one strategy. As they think through the inquiry process while problem-solving, they will need these tools to test strategies, show their thinking, plot points, guess and check their answers, and more. I believe these will support the basics of their learning as they will maybe find other resources at home. Whiteboards will be used daily in my math class as it will allow All my students to show their thinking in an accessible way. Colored markets will support my students with disabilities and visual learners to differentiate strategies, label points, plot answers, and more.
