Having the students be able to use real science equipment in a classroom instead of plastic cups and pitchers from home allows students to see, experience, and start using proper scientific equipment at an early age. They will learn how to properly handle glass equipment thus preparing them for high school, college and real world science experiences in real lab settings. With proper science equipment they can learn how to accurately measure amounts of materials for each lab. Accurate measurements reinforce that science is about accurate measurements and data collection/ observation. Proper science equipment will enhance the overall experience of the science activities for the students.

About my class
