The books on my list will be used as read alouds in my student's learning. Since we are currently Distance Learning, I will be reading to them and projecting the illustrations. I hope to have a dedicated wall in my home (for now) on the books that we are reading and what it may teach them to live in our diverse society. The exposure they get will increase awareness of other cultures and values, hence trying to bridge the gap between different cultures. The students will be proactive during the read alouds and try to make connections to each book.
