No more vegetable desert!!! In the 8th district of Washington, DC (Southeast) many family may not have fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables readily accessible or have the transportation to travel to obtain such items. As a strong proponent of problem solving and part of EA's Mission to help cultivate students who can solve problems, the principal (C. Owens) and myself (C. Brown, K - 3 STEAM Teacher) would like this wonderful tiller so that we can create a wonderful assess of a "farm-style" garden on our school grounds that will be beneficial not only for the families that we serve here at the school but for the residents and community partners around our school on this side of Anacostia.
