Our students come from all over the county. Most are not awarded the opportunity to play a school sport, and others are unable to afford to play a recreational sport. At our school we seek to teach, sportsmanship, social skills, coping skills as well as the sport itself. With the volley balls we can set up nets and teach the game of volleyball. The basketballs requested can also be used to teach the basics of the game. We can also use material/activities to come up with "real life" situations and help to help with coping skills. We are a small school and don't have a gymnasium. Any thing we are able to obtain to assist with teaching life skills and help our students be productive citizens as well as model students as they return to their District School!
