Given the options of a wobble seat, wobble chair seat, and balance ball seating, students are able to have the freedom to move while still being able to focus on the lesson's topic. Kindergarteners learn best through play, movement, and hands-on activities. These alternative seating options will allow these five and six year old students the opportunity to move while learning. Sometimes kindergarteners tend to have "the wiggles". When given the chance to move, these children are able to focus and concentrate better. Without a double, I know that my students will thrive and learn with giving them alternative seating options.
