Most of my students are from a low-income background and are delighted with anything Play-doh related. All kids love Play-doh, but many of my students have no access to it outside of school. Playing with Play-doh is an excellent, hands-on activity for language learners because they are working together, collaborating through conversation, and just plain having fun together. The Play-doh Club will be for Kindergarteners and 1st graders that choose to participate and enjoy a creative, playful space! The students will be coming to my classroom during the second half of their lunch time. I will use the rolling storage cart to store the various play-doh sets and allow the kids to choose what they would like to do. I have tables that the kids may use to set up their projects and be creative!
