We are requesting puppets and a puppet theater. Since I teach in a high EL population, I feel these materials will help many of my students communicate and become more social with peers. They will get to role play and act out different situations that are important to them concerning their culture and surroundings. Having a puppet stage will also help them to understand the meaning of performance and how to perform. This can help them when they are in school performances. I love giving this opportunity to my students. It will be a great way for me to observe my students in their ability to communicate with others using the puppets.
