This class set of Speed Stackers will enhance our school's p.e. program by 1. Offering a "new to our school" program, 2. Helping to improve students' speed, agility, focus, eye-hand coordination, ambidexterity, and patterning abilities. 3. Building student's self-esteem by leveling the playing field for all students, regardless of their athletic abilities. All students Kindergarten through 5th grade will have the opportunity to learn speed stacking. One need not be a strong traditional-sport athlete to be a successful Speed Stacker. By donating to this project, students will be able to participate regularly in speed stacking during p.e. class and older students will have the option to participate in an after school program too. Ultimately, this is an activity students can do for a lifetime. There are many social-emotional and physical benefits to speed stacking. As a direct benefit from speed stacking, students will be more successful in the classroom too, as their focus, confidence, and self-esteem improve. Please help us meet our goal to make this program a reality for our school.
