It has been proven that children learn by doing and at W.C. Elementary we desire to provide as much hands-on learning as possible. Since children can be visual, auditory or kinesthetic learners, it is important to have a variety of resources to meet the needs of every student. My goal is to provide additional learning materials to the students that can be used on a daily basis. This will reinforce the curriculum and challenge them at a higher level. The materials being requested through this grant would enable me to first teach a concept and then allow my students to explore and discover more connections about the topic.
