I am very excited to start this project! I have 25 active and squirmy kindergartners that are learning to stay in their own space. I do a lot of instruction with students on the carpet. This is so I can give them strong visuals, as they are multi-lingual students who are learning to become high achieving in both English and Spanish. As a first year teacher, I know the needs of 25 little bodies-their own space, but unfortunately an appropriate carpet for them is out of my price range at this time. My carpet area is crowded and we would like a magical carpet space for instruction to be beneficial and meaningful! Students like structure and this boxed rug would provide each student with a consistent and personal space. I like that there are different colored boxes for my visual learners! My students are peeling the tape on our current carpet and instruction is getting lost. We can't wait to get this new carpet!
