More and more of my students present with sensory processing dysfunctions that impact their success in the classroom. Your donation will provide my students with strategies and adaptations that they can carry over from the therapy room to the classroom to help self-regulate their sensory input, assisting them in calming down effectively and improving their ability to complete classroom tasks. This includes a sensory tent, trampolines, weighted vests, lap pads, and seat cushions! The goal of my project is to give my students the means to best succeed in school so they can socialize, feel strong and comfortable, and build their confidence in the school setting.

About my class
