As the world of education is ever changing in this technology age, students must be exposed to it more frequently. Our school shares about 50 Chromebooks with almost 300 students. This means my students have access to technology for less than 45 minutes a day! Chromebooks provide opportunities for my students from all around the globe, especially those that may not have access to technology outside of school. It will expose them to more research projects for science. It will allow them to better explore their curiosities about their reading, and will even allow students to participate in online math programs. My students are from many different backgrounds, and have been exposed to many different experiences. These Chromebooks in the classroom would help level the playing field to those students who have no access to technology at home.
