By obtaining a BrainPOP Jr. license I will be able to incorporate science and social studies in the classroom. These are subjects that tend to be overlooked and hard to fit into our everyday schedule. BrainPOP allows for visual and hands-on learning activities that are age appropriate for my students in the cross-categorical classroom. It also helps incorporate science and social studies into our core curriculum topics. The two characters in BrainPOP work together to create and teach mini-lessons on important subjects for students. These lessons include videos, activities, worksheets, and mini-quizzes to help check for comprehension. This resource helps include science and social studies into the classroom and would be a great resource for my special education cross-categorical classroom.
