I have a bunch of fun activities planned for my students this year. I had my students craft goals for themselves this quarter. The supplies listed below will help my students reach and hopefully exceed these goals. My students are so excited to learn new skills and create goals for them to follow through on. Having a safe product is very important as well because I am dealing with medically fragile students in some cases. So I need to make sure that none of my products have latex in them because many students have allergies. I have also selected a group of foam balls. The fact that they are foam is great because students can safely through and catch them. The parachute will be a fun activity for students to do so they will be able to learn how to work together. Having a safe throw and catch system is important because many students have trouble with fine motor skills.
