The music program here at MMS is growing quickly. As the program grows, my class sizes increase and it becomes very cramped in my room. This year, we saw a 50% increase in the number of students enrolled in music classes. My Beginning band now has 70 students in it. My classroom barely fits that number of students. One of the ways I can increase the amount of teachable space in my room is by organizing music stands onto a stand rack. My hope is to receive enough funds to purchase a stand rack. In doing so, I will be able to move all of my music stands out of a practice room and open up that room for student practice and sectional practice.
