When students listen to music and try to identify different parts of a piece of music, it can be challenging to keep all the parts straight. When students can be creative and have hands-on activities, identifying different musical parts becomes easier because they have something engaging to remember it by. With these materials of scarves, parachutes and ribbons, students will get to have creative, hands-on engaging activities to help enrich their musical knowledge and understanding. I believe each student should have the opportunity to have hands-on activities and the opportunity to be creative! With these items, my students will get to create and explore music in a new and meaningful way!
