This set of library books will enhance student learning and continue to grow student interest in science and engineering topics. My students have such a great appreciation for new information that it is rare for students to find a nonfiction book in our classroom library that they have not already read. Their excitement for new information makes their school days more enjoyable and beneficial. With our school's STEM focus, it would be extremely beneficial for students to have access to high-quality science, technology, engineering, and technological books. Our school focuses on lakes and steams for STEM because we are located in a rural county with over one hundred lakes. So, I have chosen texts to help students learn more about our lakes as well as technologies that we use in the community to help us use our resources in the best way possible.

About my class
