These materials will help my students experience chemistry in a safe manner. There is a lot to learn about safety in the laboratory and students can't really understand safety until they practice it. These gloves and safety shields will help them get a "real life" laboratory experience. Good safety equipment will help my students have confidence in the laboratory. Every student knows that safety is important but often they haven't had a chance to experience it. My students will use this new safety equipment to learn and to help them become the professionals that they want to be. I have no doubt that with this equipment my students will be ready to experience a college laboratory setting or work in a laboratory after high school.
