These materials will help me in my small group hands on math and alphabet instruction which is what the majority of my special education students need. Hands-on learning also aids my students in fine motor skills which many of them need at this young age in Kindergarten. I will use the alphabet letters in rice for fine motor practice to get the letters out with tweezers and the students will then say the letter and sound it makes. For math students will learn numbers in a more engaging way with use of the lock and key items. The red tubs will be used to hold science experiments as we become scientists and test our science skills through experimentation.
