My students are already some of the most hardworking children I have had the pleasure of knowing. They are so incredibly engaged, eager, and willing to learn. I have never heard of children asking for homework, but I must have the group that redefines what it means to be a student. In my class of 22, I have 8 students on ESL plans and 3 more on IEPs. So, 1/2 of my students are in need of extra accommodations and help. I am hoping to find alternative ways to cultivate their learning and help them excel in their expected growth this year. I have found that they love our morning and afternoon circle times and having flexible seating options that allow them to work wherever they are going to be the most productive. Because of this, I would love to be able to purchase a carpet that is conducive to our class size as well as purchase some more flexible seating as well!
