Are you excited every March for March Madness? Do you get a thrill filling out those basketball brackets each year? I am creating a book-bracket tournament to give kids some excitement about reading and keep them reading. For the tournament, I am in need of some thrilling titles that kids will find intriguing and current. Kids will fill out brackets and vote on various titles each week to move forward in the tournament. Kids will be given a vote per book they read that is part of the tournament. I am writing to request monies to purchase approximately 60 books that will serve 180 kids in this book bracket tournament. Please help me give these kids a new and exciting way to approach reading in my classroom.
