Our school wants to create a closer relationship between our students' parents and teachers by allowing teachers to use iPads for communication through an app called ClassDojo. Currently, the only charging cables we have for the iPads are all embedded in a pre-established cart making it nearly impossible to have the individual teachers use the iPads for this initiative effectively. The extra cables provided in this project will help us reach this goal. The increased connection between parents and teachers will foster open-lines of communication to reinforce positive actions and to help correct less-desired behavior. By being able to actively and effectively communicate with the parents using this technology could give the students the extra edge they need to be successful.
