Setting up a space that is comfortable, yet conducive to learning can be tricky in a 10"x13" classroom. Each inch is valuable, and I need to make sure to utilize all of the space I have. All students deserve a classroom that is visually appealing and functional. I work with groups of kindergarten through fifth grade students in one day, so it is necessary to be organized. Decor that is appropriate for each of these grade levels is an added bonus. With such diverse backgrounds and experiences, these students need a wide variety of choices and opportunities to be able to learn. I hope to have a culturally inclusive classroom that my students feel comfortable learning in.
